This year’s ballot is a doozy, with the federal election, the statewide propositions, local measures, supervisors, and of course, the contentious and very critical mayoral race. Join us next Tuesday, October 22nd, at Mothership from 6:30 - 9pm to fill out your ballot with help from our voting experts!  This is the first time that we have had a mayoral election at the same time as a presidential election, and we’re expecting the highest voter turnout in San Francisco history!

With so much at stake, including new leadership on the School Board to prevent school closures, expanding rent control to 40,000 additional units, saving our City’s commissions (including the SF Library and Arts Commissions, and Health Commission to name a few), fighting back against rampant corruption with an Inspector General, protecting a woman’s right to choose, the ability to pass affordable housing funding with a lower majority threshold, funding for public transit, abolishing slavery in prison, and electing Aaron Peskin as the first Progressive mayor in over 30 years…well, dang, filling out your ballot can be a daunting task!

That’s why we’re so grateful to the SF League of Pissed Off Voters, who do extensive research into the complex and intentionally dense language of each proposed law and the track record of every candidate to craft their thorough voter guide to help you vote in the best interest of you, your loved ones, and your community.

Aaron’s campaign team and the SF League of Pissed Off Voters wanna see you out for a ballot breakdown this Tuesday! Bring your ballot, bring a friend, discuss the nuances of propositions – and vote with your heart for the future you want for San Francisco and California! Get into it!

Mothership is located at 3152 Mission St (next door to our friends, El Rio). Bring your ballot, grab a drink, and vote!

See you there!
